help with a sculpture?

hi, i have a photograph of this beautiful sculpture. i think that the writing is old russian? would anyone out there be able to please help translate or tell me anything about it? thank you all. peace and smiles to you

    It doesn't look like Russian, but instead it looks alot like Georgian or Armenian from the look of some of the letters, but it could also be Old Slavonic (the 'Л' doesn't look Armenian or Georgian). Its tough to pick out since some of the letters between the languages...though very different...look similar.
